Walk us through your background- Tell us more about you and your music
My name is Eric Freeman I am 23 years of age. I’m from Norwalk Connecticut, I moved to Charlotte NC when I was 12 years of age. Every song I’ve written and recorded tells you all about my life and what I live for. I started music two years ago. The way I started music, I’m into poetry so I turned my poems in songs now I own my own record label called 2 Wayz Ent.
What inspires you?
My life inspires me to do music I love telling everyone my story and how I got to where I’m at today in life. My dad and my cousin CO-CEO told me to get in the studio, so I say without them pushing me I would have never did anything with my God given gift.
What are some of the obstacles you've faced and how has it made you better?
I was homeless at the age of 20, locked up 13 different times, and been through so many things in my life it turned me into a man. Once I got back on my feet I knew I had to get my priorities together and get my life in order. I love where I’m at in life today.
What is your 5 year plan for your music and for yourself?
Knowing that I own a record label I just don’t focus on myself I manage four different artist. My goal in the next 5 years is to get them heard by the masses. My biggest plan is to start my own production company and film movies.
What do you want people to takeaway from your music?
I send off messages in my music. The message I want the masses to take from the music is to never give up on their dreams and keep moving forward.
Where can people find your music?
You can find my music on Apple Music, google play, I heart radio, Spotify, and anything else that streams music.
