Spanglish artist Zelly Vibes has created a buzz for herself. Hailing all the way from Las Vegas, Nevada we got a chance to tap in with this artist and learn more about her. Check out the full interview below.

Walk us through your background- Tell us more about you and what you do

My name is Zelly Vibes, I am a recording artist from Las Vegas, NV. I started with Spanish Folk music at age 11 and transitioned to doing English music in 2016. I now make both English and Spanish music.

What inspires you?

My friends inspire me, traveling and living life to the fullest.

What are some of the obstacles you've faced and how has it made you better?

Wow, this would be a whole chapter. I have faced obstacles for sure but life is like that, it has its ups and downs and you just gotta hold on tight. Coming to America was a culture shock, I didn't know how to speak English people would make fun of my accent and it was real hard to fit in. This music journey has a lot of obstacles but somehow things always work out.

What do you think makes your music different from other artist?

Honestly I don't really focus on being different, I just do me. I have an accent and somehow people now like that. I make spanglish music because I feel like its easy since I already speak like that in regular conversations.

It's important to give yourself credit; What do you feel is/are your biggest accomplishment(s) to date?

I was actually let go from my 9-5 job and I had no choice but to go harder. Learning the business side of music and going full time with my artistry. Learning how to record my own vocals, performing at House of Blues for 2400 people, my music being played on live radio... all that independently but I guess the most important accomplishment has been not giving up.

What are some things that you still want to accomplish?

I want to keep growing my audience, I want to continue making music and exploring more with my sound. Of course more shows and making music with artists I want to work with. I want to bring balance to others, I want to help people, I want to do my part for the elevation of humanity.

What new music do you have coming up?

I have some reggeaton music coming up with Dj Exile and some Turn up Vibes as well. Im excited for it!

What do you want people to takeaway from your music?

I want people to feel confident when they listen to my music, I want them to feel motivated to feel like everything they want to accomplish is possible and you don't have to be perfect you can be yourself.

Finally, If you had a message to give to any artist coming behind you, what would it be?

Stop waiting for life to be perfect, make it work with what you have. Learn how to carry yourself in a professional manner. Have good work ethic and don't ever give up.
